March 25, 2008 News
Dear Parents:
Thank you for another successful year with minor injuries and lots of fun. Our ticket sales were wonderful and the winners were very happy to receive their prizes. Thanks to all who help with this event. Our trip to Lake Louise this year was exciting to say the least. The snowboarders had a great time and we wish to thank all of the Chaperones.
Thank you to all the chaperones for your time and energy on Saturdays. These trips would not be possible without our parent volunteers. Again, we appreciate your efforts.
An unusual situation has presented itself with our Executive. All of the current Executive members are giving up their positions for various reasons. They have done their part volunteering time and energy and providing us with a supportive, wonderful club. Each member of the Executive will gladly assist and provide guidance to their replacement. The 2007/2008 Executive will stay on until the Annual General Meeting/Registration night, which will be held in late September 2008. Watch the local papers for advertisement of date and place.
Please make every effort to attend this meeting or if you are unable to attend and wish to stand for a position on the Executive, please contact an Executive member. Please note that the Lloydminster Snowboard Club requires a Volunteer Executive in order to operate.
We thank you for your attention to this very important matter and we look forward to seeing everyone in September.
Yours truly,
Snowboard Executive
